HONOLULU, HI - Viata Software announced today that a beta test with two of its larger clients, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts and Hawaiian Vacations, is complete. This test lays the groundwork for Viata's most recent development - a network that will directly connect all its current and future clients with each other, affording them unprecedented efficiencies in booking travel.
Several of Viata's wholesale clients are already in line to connect directly with Outrigger, now that the test is complete. In addition, Viata will join Outrigger on an upcoming road show to visit some of its larger West Coast wholesalers.

Viata's EzRez line of products revolutionizes the travel industry by giving travel suppliers and resellers the tools to conduct business more efficiently over the internet. Outrigger has implemented the EzBook version into its existing operations, which will afford it not only direct connections but an online booking engine that Outrigger's agents can utilize to easily book rooms and packages for its retail clients.

Viata's new direct connectivity feature enables travel resellers with any one of the EzRez products to electronically access and book a supplier's inventory, without first having to manually load their contracts into their system. Suppliers with an EzRez product become part of Viata's ever-growing network, whose members can sell their inventory more expeditiously through these direct connections.
